Michael Callahan began his performing career as a magician in 1997. As a magician
he has done everything from busking in Boulder, CO to headlining corporate gala events.
He has performed from the Rocky Mountains to the East Coast. In 2005, Michael wrote,
directed
and produced "Haunted Kirksville," a ghost tour of a small town in Missouri. This show has since evolved into a traditional Victorian seance, was performed in 2007 under the title "Little Ghost Theater" and will be performed in 2008 under the name "The Cox House Haunting" in the historic Eugiene St. Julien Cox House in St. Peter, MN. Michael's magic innovation, the "MRI Case," is carried by Eagle Magic in Minnesota, Misdirections in San Francisco, and Magic Inc., in Chicago. Michael has lectured to magicians on the art of making professional grade gaffed cards using the dry peel technique. Michael began performing as a feature stand up comedy act in 2007, performing more than twenty shows in four states. In 2008, Michael opened the "firefly club," an intimate venue dedicated to the vaudevillian arts. The club has already hosted stars from cable television's Comedy Central. Michael continues to perform as both a magician and comedian.
